Sorry for the late posts, it seems that we have been doing that a lot lately. Academically, Lewis and I have been doing fantastic. Lewis got 3 awards including the academic honors, musical, and citizenship. I got perfect attendance, which doesn't really count as academic i guess, and finished the year off with straight A's. Lewis, dad, and I don't get out of school until tomorrow... which is lame to the maximum and Cheryl got out a couple days ago. For 4 years dad has been stuck in a smelly portable with a cramped space and old carpet, now he gets to actually teach inside the school. He seems a little disappointed but he needs the space because every year there seems to be more and more students.
I am so excited for summer. We are driving down to Petaluma next week to see Grandma and Grandpa. Then, Lewis has scout camp and I have girls camp. Most importantly, we get to go to UTAH! Whenever I tell someone from church that I'm going to Utah they think it isn't a big deal but when I tell them it's for the first time its a complete different reaction. It's hard being the only Mormon girl in the world that has never been to Utah. I guess I'm finally worthy enough to go to the Promised land. I was going to go to Youth Conference on Wednesday but sadly I hurt my ankle when I was at my friends' house bouncing on a trampoline. It's not that bad but I have to wear a brace around. After hurting my ankle on I decided that it wasn't that bad and went swimming. I did not wear goggles and didn't know where I was going and bumped my head on the side of the pool. Friday was just not my day.
Cheryl had to give a talk today for Fathers day today and she did fabulous! For fathers day dad wanted a BBQ shortribs, tapioca fruit salad, and potato salad, all recipes thanks to Grandma. He also got World of the Worlds and The Time Machine. He seems to like it but you can't really tell with him. Lewis can pass the sacrament now and to make him spiffy he got a new suit. He looks like a little priesthood holder and me and my friends always joke about how he will someday be prophet. I think the most exciting news this week was that Cheryl got a new car! It's a blackish brown Nissan Versa named Miles. Everybody really likes Miles and its almost as awesome as Danielle.(Dad's red 4runner) I hope everybody has a great summer!
